Workforce Training Program
The College & Workforce Readiness (CWR) Initiative seeks to innovate multiple pathways for college and workforce readiness in order to close the opportunity gap that is reflected in the deep disparities of post-secondary completion and workforce readiness among students of color and those from low-income families. By increasing partnerships and collaboration amongst education institutions, workforce development organizations, and employers, we can increase the number of industry-specific credentials and certification training opportunities that will lead to employability and/or successful navigation of post-secondary education.

Small Business Development Academy
Learn how to start and sustain your own business with this FREE weekly program, addressing topics essential to running a successful business — presented by experienced professionals. In addition, qualifying enrollees will have an opportunity to compete for a $5,000 business grant from the City of Norwalk.
